TRUE LEADER:<\/strong> The LEADER Has A VISION Of A Better FUTURE And A PATH To Get There!<\/p>\n

The Staff FOLLOWS Because They WANT<\/u> To Be A Part Of That FUTURE<\/p>\n

Give your staff a vision of something GREAT you are going to do together \u2026 Something that will have Meaning and give their lives Purpose.<\/strong>\u00a0 People are STARVED for this!\u00a0 True Leaders get Staff Excited about what they are doing everyday \u2026 and their staff are driven by Purpose<\/p>\n

Example:<\/strong> When I was a Therapist in a Mental Health Facility \u2013 Our Mission was: \u201cTo Save Lives \u2026 To Save Families \u2026 To Save our Community!\u201d<\/p>\n

Example:<\/strong> When I worked in a Flooring Store \u2013 Our Mission was: \u201cTo Start with ONE Store and Ultimately be the Biggest Chain in The State. HOW? By Caring for our Customers and Community More than any competitor!\u201d<\/p>\n

Tip #2: LEADERS Focus Intensely On What Is MOST<\/u> Important For The Business<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ask Yourself: <\/strong>What am I doing that is MOST important to the long-term Profitability and Longevity of this Company?<\/p>\n

TRUE LEADER: <\/strong>A REAL Leader KNOWS they DON\u2019T get paid to just do the day-to-day business of the company. That level of \u201cLeadership\u201d is just enough to NOT get fired. A True Leader focuses intensely on how to GROW the business\/department.<\/p>\n

ASK YOURSELF:<\/strong> What do I get PAID for? You do NOT get paid to order staff around. You get PAID to make the company MONEY!\u00a0 No PROFITS … No PAY!<\/p>\n

Constantly focus on what you can be doing to 1) increase sales,2) boost profits and 3) save the company money. Sounds simple right? Do YOU have a WRITTEN PLAN for doing this? OPPS!\u00a0 THIS is why most \u201cLeaders\u201d are really just \u201cManagers.\u201d They Manage the Business (Keep it afloat) .. Leaders GROW the business.<\/p>\n

Tip #3: TRAIN Your Staff<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In a typical company \u2026 Payroll is 60% of ALL expenses.<\/p>\n

Companies are basically NOTHING but Employees in a building.<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong> Your Employees are your Biggest Expense \u2026 and your Biggest Asset!<\/p>\n

Question:<\/strong> What have YOU done to Train Them Properly?<\/p>\n

The FATE of your Company Rests on how well your staff is trained. YOUR career also rests on how well your staff is trained. They are constantly making you look good \u2026 or bad.<\/p>\n

Training them properly does NOT mean they can do the basic functions of the job \u2026 That is JUST a Starting Point!<\/p>\n
