While many understand it\u2019s a joke, there\u2019s some concern from the U.S. Air Force that not all are getting that message.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 350px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/qYHlTos5CDu0\/giphy.gif\" alt=\"Naruto\" width=\"350\" height=\"263\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">A Naruto run for those wondering<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earlier today, they posted a reminder to those who are seriously considering visiting the site that it is an open training range for the Air Force, it would be unwise to approach such a heavily guarded area without permission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Where did the rumor of aliens at Area 51 begin? Let\u2019s take a look at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/story\/what-is-known-and-not-known-about-area-51\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Britannica\u2019s<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> timeline &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>1939-1945<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The United States uses Area 51 as an aerial weapon target range for the duration of World War II.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>1955<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In secrecy, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) uses Area 51 to practice aerial surveillance programs. Here they tested the Lockheed U-2, which is a high-level reconnaissance aircraft. To find out more about the U-2, check out <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.airforce-technology.com\/projects\/u2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air Force Technology<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>1956<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">U-2\u2019s were in the air, the CIA continued to test more aerial technology under <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cia.gov\/library\/readingroom\/document\/cia-rdp62b00844r000200080051-9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Project AQUATONE<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. President Eisenhower signed off on all tests.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/giphygifs.s3.amazonaws.com\/media\/5JgvcvChcyBk4\/giphy.gif\" width=\"500\" height=\"370\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><b>1989<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bob Lazar claims to have been on a project working with extraterrestrial technology at Area 51. Lazar claims to have seen photos of extraterrestrial autopsies and more. Consequently, Lazar&#8217;s claims were refuted by the Government but sparked many conspiracy theories surrounding alien life.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>2013<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The United States Government finally acknowledges the existence of Area 51 but does not confirm any existence of alien technology being found. The Government claims to have used Area 51 solely for testing military technology, disputing any claims of extraterrestrial connections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/xUPGcE96qKqy4DTvfG\/giphy.gif\" width=\"480\" height=\"319\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><b>2019<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interest in Area 51 is at a peak high after U.S. Senators were briefed about a U.S. Navy interaction with an unidentified flying object. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, the Navy told<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2019\/06\/20\/politics\/ufo-sightings-navy-briefs-us-senators\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> CNN<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> they do not believe there are aliens in U.S. airspace but there has been a surge of UFOs in recent years. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bob Lazar has a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/title\/81083891\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">highly rated Netflix special<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and of course, there\u2019s the Facebook event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Area 51 has maintained its mysteriousness for almost 40 years, what do you think of this new surge of interest?
