Learning how to eat the right way in the country you plan to visit is an important part of the prep before a trip. Just like looking up common phrases in the foreign destination\u2019s language, or the climate your future trip location enjoys \u2013 researching the local dining etiquette can save you from seeming rude or committing a faux pas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tipping, cutlery usage, and even seasoning should be kept in mind, and improper technique of any of these can cause offense to your host.<\/p>\n

Make sure you are culturally savvy – learn the dos and don\u2019ts from popular travel destinations to help you seem just like a native on your next trip!<\/p>\n

At the end of the day, foreigners aren\u2019t going to judge you harshly for being ignorant of their eating etiquette. If you\u2019re eating with locals for the first time, don\u2019t be afraid to ask about their customs.
