18 Sep Luganda Online Course – Level 1
Luganda is one of the main language of Uganda, after English and Swahili, and the native language of the people in the Buganda region. It developed over the centuries as a spoken language through the oral traditions of the clans, and was only written down in the 19th Century.
This literally means it is a language made for communication! The passing on of their customs and culture through their strong oral history has preserved many of their traditions. Whether visiting or working in Uganda, learning Luganda is a sure sign of interest in the people, especially in the Buganda region.
