General Questions

What is a CEU?

Continuing Education Units or CEUs are courses that are specifically designed for professionals to continue learning about their trade and stay informed on new updates within their industry.

These courses are intensive and usually need to be taken annually in order to really stay up to date, depending on the guidelines in your state and industry. For many licensed professions, proof of CEU credits is required to renew your license.

Find more information on CEUs on Cudoo’s Blog.

Can a Cudoo course be taken as a Continuing Education Unit?

Yes! Select courses are available to be taken as CEUs. Check out our courses and speak with your employer about taking one of our courses to fulfill your credits.

How do I get my credits after taking a CEU course?

Should your employer accept our course as a CEU credit, you can request a copy of your CEU transcript for a small fee. Contact us to request a copy of your CEU transcript.

As with all of our courses, you will receive a certificate of completion upon finishing, to show your employer or share on your social media pages.

What is Microlearning?

Microlearning is a way of learning in short, very specific bursts through a variety of devices. The “bite sized” snacks (Micros) make sure you can absorb information quickly and efficiently, and can recall that information.

What is Nanolearning?

At Cudoo, we use the term Nanolearning for what sits underneath Microlearning, building the bites or micros.

Think of nanotechnology. That’s exactly how we see online learning: atoms or tiny particles of info coming together to create something of relevance.

Nanolearning goes one step further than Microlearning, to ensure that the tiny parts that make up the “bite” make it tasty and easy to swallow.

What is Cudoo’s blog about?

This is a great way to get extra learning tips and find out what’s new at Cudoo. Every week, we will also email new releases now available for you and learning treats.

What is CEFR?

Cudoo language courses are developed based on scientific research, designed to meet CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) language proficiency standards set by the Council of Europe. This means you can map your progress to international proficiency levels.

How do I find out my CEFR level?

If you are unsure of your language level you can take a free online language test. Once you complete the test, you will receive your results instantly by email.
